Arne Slots has given a sly answer on Trent Alexander-Arnold’s future as speculation over a move to Real Madrid grows more fearsome.

Alexander-Arnold’s contract expires at the end of the season and he will be able to speak to foreign clubs in January about a pre-contract agreement.

Spanish newspaper Ufabet reported on Thursday that Madrid are pushing hard to secure a move for the right-back and Liverpool fear he could be forced to leave.
