Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has revealed the birth of his first child with wife Helen Spilling.
Back in August, the couple posted a black-and-white seaside photo to announce the good news of Helen’s pregnancy, with the caption: “1+1=3 Can’t wait to meet our little one.”
The pair have now reposted a photo of themselves holding their newborn’s hand on social media, with the caption: “We love you so much our little boy.”
Odegaard confirmed that their first child is a boy, born on December 1, following Arsenal’s 5-2 win over West Ham United.
She also has 17 gold medals in the Norwegian national championships for ballroom dancing.
The 28-year-old boasts an impressive Instagram following of 180,000 and is the founder of a dance studio as well as a fashion brand.
She is a keen follower of Odegaard’s football career, appearing in the stands at the Emirates and for his international games.
In April, she was seen dancing to Shakira’s ‘Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)’ – which has become the anthem for Arsenal star Kai Havertz – after a 5-0 win over Chelsea during which Odegaard bagged two assists.

Ødegaard and Helen were first introduced to the public at the London Football Awards in March 2023, and he has been a regular on her social media feed.
