Carlo Ancelotti has declined to comment on Kylian Mbappe off-field issues after the player was involved in a sexual abuse scandal during his international break in Sweden.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has play down the Kylian Mbappe controversy surrounding the Frenchman, who face criticism for not playing for the French national team before he jett off to Sweden and spark headlines there after a woman reported him to police after being accuse of sexual assault. 

Mbappe has made a positive start to his Real Madrid career, scoring seven goals in 11 appearances in all competitions, although many were not impress with the 25-year-old’s displays before the international break in October, but Ancelotti is more optimistic, believing the player can use the international break to improve his physical condition.

‘He used the break to improve his physical condition. He is fine, happy and eager to be back tomorrow and to be important for the team. The 15-day break helped him a lot because he had time to recover from his injury. Kylian Mbappé is a different player to him before the break,’ Ancelotti said.

The Italian added: ‘Not only physically, on a tactical level his position has not changed from where he played in the last game. His left wing position is maybe different to Vinicius but we focused on physicality. This break has been good for him and he looks very good to me. ‘

In the aftermath of the incident in Stockholm, Mbappe’s lawyer has reveal that he has been charge in Sweden amid media outlets linking the French forward to a rape case, which they claim was stage to damage the 25-year-old’s image, but Ancelotti has refused to comment on the allegations.

‘I’m not here to comment on speculation. I don’t care what outsiders say. I’m focus on the work he’s doing.’

‘I speak to the player every day. I cannot comment on what I said before. It’s just speculation. I don’t see him feeling bad at all, but he is willing to give his all for the team. He is back to full fitness. It’s good. It’s a pleasure to see him training.’

When asked for his thoughts on Mbappe’s trip to Sweden, the Italian coach said it was a personal matter for the player. 

‘He sets a day off for him and everyone chooses what they want to do. I also went to London for two days and didn’t ask for สมัคร ufabet permission from anyone. I also don’t have a tour company that organizes trips for the players.’
